Granny Squares, Part II is a January crochet class open to both beginners* and returning students from Crochet: Granny Squares, Part I. This class is designed to meet students where they are, with plenty of guidance and time to work at an individual pace.

Returning students will bring back the granny squares they’ve already made and continue building onto their pattern. Beginners will learn the foundational stitches and create their first squares, then begin expanding their work as they gain confidence. Over the four weeks, students will work toward assembling their squares into a small blanket or a tea cozy, depending on interest and progress.

The focus is on patience, rhythm, and the satisfaction of watching something grow stitch by stitch in a calm, supportive studio environment.

What we’ll work on:
• Reviewing basic crochet stitches
• Creating and expanding granny square patterns
• Color changes and stitch consistency
• Assembling squares into a small blanket or tea cozy

What’s included:
• Yarn and crochet hooks
• Guided instruction and hands-on help
• Herbal tea and nut-free snacks

What to bring:
• Returning students should bring their completed granny squares from Part I
• Beginners need bring nothing — all materials are provided

Class size is limited to ensure individual attention and a relaxed pace.

* I can accommodate up to 2 beginning students
