This February, we’re continuing our clay exploration with a hands-on polymer clay series focused on useful, thoughtfully designed objects. By popular request, students will work with clay to create functional pieces they can actually use in daily life—such as trinket dishes, bowls, trays, phone holders, and small organizers—while still leaving room for creativity and personal expression.

What we’ll explore:

  • Functional clay objects such as trinket dishes, bowls, trays, and phone stands

  • Design considerations like balance, thickness, and stability

  • Texture and surface detail

  • Simple construction and support techniques

What’s included:

  • Polymer clay and basic sculpting tools

  • Project storage between sessions

  • Herbal tea, cocoa, and nut-free snacks

No prior clay experience is necessary. Class size will be limited to maintain a relaxed studio environment and allow for individual guidance.
