Middle School: 3:15–4:45 PM
Upper Elementary: 3:45–4:45 PM

Location: Solebury House of Movement & Art (SHoMA)
Cost: $120 for the 3-week series (all materials included)

Join us for a cozy December series where kids learn to crochet granny squares—those colorful little patterns that come together to make blankets, scarves, and all kinds of beautiful things.

Taught by the sweetest grandma around, Dr. Diana Gibb, this class combines skill-building with the warmth of old-fashioned craft and connection. Kids will learn the basics of crochet—how to hold the yarn, make chains, and stitch patterns—while enjoying tea, healthy snacks, and good company.

Each week, they’ll create new squares, exploring color and texture as they go. By the end of the series, students will have a small sampler of their own handmade work to take home—perfect for gifting or keeping as a winter treasure.

What’s included: yarn, crochet hook, materials, tea and refreshmens
What to bring: curiosity, patience, and cozy after-school energy

Register: Venmo @kristinagibbphotography (include child’s name, grade, and “Granny Squares Class”).
Class size limited to 8 for plenty of hands-on help.
