  • Kristina Gibb Photography New Hope, PA (map)

Mondays • December 1, 8, and 15
Middle School: 3:15–4:45 PM
Upper Elementary (UES): 3:45–4:45 PM
Ages 9–14
Location: Solebury House of Movement & Art (SHoMA)
Cost: $120 for the 3-week series • all materials included

By resounding demand, we’re offering a December drawing class just for our animal-loving artists. In this gentle, playful series, students will learn to draw animals step-by-step—focusing on gesture, proportion, and the expressive details that bring creatures to life.

Each week explores a new theme:

Week 1: Dogs
Different breeds, ear shapes, poses, and personalities.

Week 2: Cats (and wildcats)
Domestic cats, big cats, and the graceful anatomy they share.

Week 3: Mystical Animals & Hybrids
Students design imaginative creatures—dragons, unicorns, or their own chimera, which is an animal made by combining parts of different creatures (like a lion with eagle wings or a fox with a fish tail).

What’s included: drawing pencils, paper, reference images, herbal tea, and nut-free snacks
What to bring: nothing — just after-school energy and curiosity

This class pairs beautifully with our cozy December vibe: herbal tea, light after-school snacks (usually apples and crackers unless something else is requested), soft music, and a warm studio space where everyone can settle in and create at their own pace.

Register: Venmo @kristinagibbphotography with the class name and your child’s name & age.
Class size limited to 6 for individual attention and a calm atmosphere.
