Drop the kids off and enjoy an evening out while we turn SHoMA into a mini dance studio and stage.
The night begins with a 3-minute choreographed dance taught by Elise (Ellie) D’Amico, a member of the Pitt Dance Ensemble and University of Pittsburgh Ballet. Ellie will break down the choreography step by step, helping students learn musicality, timing, and performance presence in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Once the dance is learned, students will perform it together as a group (informal and celebratory — no pressure!). After that, the studio transforms into a dance party: karaoke, freestyle movement, and open movement time with curated, age-appropriate music.
The focus is on confidence, joy, and expression — not perfection.
