Ghost Photoshoots in New Hope & Lambertville đź‘»

  • Kristina Gibb Photography New Hope, PA (map)

A Photography Workshop for Ages 12–16
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
Cost: $50 per participant
Location: Meet at the New Hope Canal Towpath entrance near Main Street bridge

This isn't a typical photography class. You'll be the photographer and the subject — moving through the streets of New Hope and Lambertville in a ghost costume, learning to direct, frame, and shoot as you go.

We'll work with real locations — canal paths, stone alleys, bridges, river overlooks — and use the fall light and atmosphere to make images that actually look like something. Along the way, we'll cover composition basics, how to use motion and framing intentionally, and what makes a portrait feel cinematic rather than just posed.

Every participant will leave knowing they made the photos, not just appeared in them.

What you'll take away Each participant receives a professionally printed and framed 5Ă—7 photograph selected and printed by Kristina, delivered one week after the workshop. Select images will also be featured on SHoMA's Instagram and shared with local business and community accounts across New Hope and Lambertville.

The route Canal Towpath near the Locktender's House → Mechanic Street Alley → New Hope–Lambertville Bridge → Lambertville Station Overlook → Under the Playhouse Deck
