Come dressed up and become part of the art! Inspired by traditional figure drawing parties, this special Halloween event invites participants of all ages to take turns being both the artist and the model.

Individuals, friends, couples, siblings, and entire families can step onto the “stage” in costume and strike a short pose while everyone else creates quick, playful drawings. We’ll begin with a simple introduction to gesture drawing and learning how to capture movement, shape, personality, and costume without worrying about perfection. Some poses will feature individual models, while others will bring groups together for especially fun and theatrical drawings.

As an added part of the evening, professional photographs will be taken of participating individuals, families, and groups in costume, creating a special Halloween portrait alongside the artwork made during the event.

No drawing experience is necessary. Come as you are—or as someone completely different—and spend the evening drawing, posing, laughing, and making art together.
