A relaxed, creative summer open studio for kids who love to make things.
This small-group week gives young artists the time, space, materials, and support to explore their own ideas in a warm and encouraging environment. Students will have access to a wide variety of art supplies, along with optional creative prompts and project ideas each day.
Kristina will provide guidance throughout the week, helping students get started, develop their ideas, solve creative challenges, and experiment with new materials and techniques. There will also be plenty of room for independent projects, imaginative exploration, and following wherever an idea leads.
Special Crochet Days
Diana Gibb will join the Open Studio to teach crochet on two days during the week, with the specific days to be announced.
Children who are interested will have the opportunity to learn introductory crochet skills or receive guidance on a project already in progress. Crochet participation is completely optional, and students may continue with their regular open-studio projects instead.
No previous crochet experience is necessary.
